Representing both world-renowned and undiscovered innovators of the new contemporary art movement, the folks at Limited Addiction Gallery have a musically inclined show soon to hit their walls. Justin BUA, known for his signature paintings of musicians and DJs, has produced an incredible collection portraying the underground world of urban music.
BUA began his work on the streets of New York City’s Upper West Side. Fascinated by the raw, visceral street life of Manhattan, BUA used his art as a tool to capture urban culture and spearhead the unique style of distorted urban realism.
His solo exhibit, BUA Musicology, opens this Saturday, April 26th, and will remain on display through May 24th. You can check out the online preview of his work at http://www.limitedaddictiongallery.com/.

Momaboma is an Italian company that creates really beautiful, retro, vintage bags. The bags are made out of paper from recycled glam magazines from the 1950’s and 1960’s and other material such as old vinyl records. The carefully-chosen paper is then processed with resin, polypropylene, vinyl and glue and the result are those really unique retro bags.
Maurizio, Momaboma founder, states that, “Everything belonging to the past maintains intact the charm of humanity, imperfection and normality. For this reason I am inspired by every used and lived object able to narrate its history. The emotions given by these materials are mainly visual and tactile, the same emotions with which we learn to compare since the first days of live”.

The Internet is quickly paving the way for artistic revolution, giving new arms for artists to reach art enthusiasts, collectors and appreciators across the globe. I am reminded of the words of musician and activist Jello Biafra when he suggested that we âbecome the mediaâ. Artists of all stripes now have the opportunity to do exactly this with the availability of platforms such as TalentDatabase.com. The art revolution for the Internet age is just beginning, and accessibility is no longer in the hands of an elite few. This is a visionary approach that will create unparalleled exposure for artists and a more eclectic and authentic palette for viewers and lovers of art. This is not just social networking. This is activism for art. I look forward to more!
