When I think of success in terms of being an artist, I think of how it takes a community of creators, art collectors, and promoters to really make things happen. As most artists do, I tend to work alone in my studio for many hours a day, but with the internet so easily accessible, I can meet other artists from all over the world, anytime of the day.
Through TalentDatabase I have made an incredible amount of connections, and everyone seems so supportive of each other. I have truly made some real friends! Most are very eager to share their connections with galleries, and for this I have been able to show my work in other parts of the country. The exposure has led to being featured on other web sites too. I regularly share resources with others in my community and have recently been working with some incredibly talented artists on group murals and art shows. As artists in the information age, we can easily share our images, talents and time with others around the world through web sites like TalentDatabase.
