Skate Study House specializes in recreating popular furniture through the vision of a skateboarder.
Founders, Gil Le Bon De Lapointe and Pierre Andre Senizergues have teamed up to create this concept. They use the combination of skateboarding and design to produce a mixture of contemporary lifestyle, art and action sports culture.
Gil’s design influence comes from hitting the streets of epic cities for skateboarding. As a designer for over 20 years in the action sports industry, living the lifestyle is what fuels his innovations.
Pierre Andre, president and CEO of Sole Technology, has jumped into exploring other avenues of design by seeking to understand architecture, interior design and other eco / sustainable concepts. He is always trying to mix the skateboard culture and green materials with each endeavor.
Both of their backgrounds in design and the board sports industry really shine through in this unique collection. Their work can be found at SkateStudyHouse.com.

Hi,
I came across the site by acident and was drawn to the beautiful design of the modern skate board. I have just returned from spain where the sport still seems to be thriving. I do not feel that it has developed so well here in the UK, but I may be wrong. The upsurge in skateboarding facilities of a few years ago appears to have gone into decline.
