Starting back in August 2003, Craftster.org is a haven for the hip, a do-it-yourselfer’s paradise. These DIY projects cross the boundaries previously set by cross-stitched framed quotes and tea cozies, and now occupy a place in the realm of cool.
Contributors to Craftster.org show off, share ideas, ask questions and give and take inspiration for new […]

Of course all three terms are related in an incestuous cycle. One of the first uses of art was to tell a story. Religions organizations once commissioned visual depictions of their stories to convey them to a sometimes predominately illiterate audience, or now simply to bring their beliefs to life. The Tenori-on, the latest from music powerhouse Yamaha. Its basically a revamped lite-bright with sound and without all those annoying colored plastic pegs and the peg by number black construction paper. Its smaller than a laptop and about as thick as an etch-a-sketch.

The Internet is quickly paving the way for artistic revolution, giving new arms for artists to reach art enthusiasts, collectors and appreciators across the globe. I am reminded of the words of musician and activist Jello Biafra when he suggested that we âbecome the mediaâ. Artists of all stripes now have the opportunity to do exactly this with the availability of platforms such as TalentDatabase.com. The art revolution for the Internet age is just beginning, and accessibility is no longer in the hands of an elite few. This is a visionary approach that will create unparalleled exposure for artists and a more eclectic and authentic palette for viewers and lovers of art. This is not just social networking. This is activism for art. I look forward to more!
