Most internet radio stations will go silent next month!
Legal changes have greatly increased royalty rates for internet radio which will go into effect May 15, making it prohibitively expensive for most internet radio stations to keep operating. Talentspeaks supports the SaveNetRadio Movement because internet radio brings incredible exposure opportunities to independent artists and brings fans great music they won’t hear on terrestrial radio controlled by the media giants. The cause has been taken up by representatives Jay Inslee (D-WA) and Donald Manzullo (R-IL), who have introduced the Internet Radio Equality Act in an attempt to save the internet radio industry. I urge you to go to the SaveNetRadio website and do what you can to support this initiative. And please help spread the word.
