I had the pleasure of meeting Kenji Williams at the Global Entertainment and Media Summit in New York last December. He spoke about creating compelling media experiences using his projects as examples. Kenji is a charismatic creator that truly delivers rich and beautiful sensory experiences. He combines his skills as filmmaker, electronic music producer, theatrical director, and classically trained violinist. His music is lush, rich electronic textures and beats overlaid with provocative emotional violin scores. This base is then mixed in different ways with other media. Highlights include large shows in Japan and Europe featuring female performance artists choreographed to his music, an incredible collaboration with artist Alex Grey in a live event which yielded the World Spirit DVD, and his latest project with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science mixes his music elements with a unique planetarium show. We greatly enjoy Kenji’s work and eagerly await his next project.

I loved this story! AcoustiCon performs a similar multimedia experience combining music and art through a dynamic projection show and would love to learn more about this project.
